The Community Room at Vitality!

The Community Room at Vitality!

They say it takes a village and that's what we're going to do; A mini village of health, growth, wellness, art, and inspiration. We're excited to announce a new space to share with our community! We're currently in the process of remodeling a multi-use space in which we will be offering yoga, art classes, health classes and so much more.

Minerals

Minerals

We all know vitamins are good for us, but have you though about how many of the neccesary minerals you're getting each day? Minerals are critical for the formation of blood and bone, body fluids, cellular growth and healing, energy, muscle tone, and nerve function. Minerals are also vital in the absorption, function and effectiveness of many vitamins. This means if minerals are not present in the proper proportion, then vitamins are not sufficiently absorbed. This can leave you deficient in both vitamins and minerals, taking a toll on your overall health!

The ABCs of Vitamins

The ABCs of Vitamins

Vitamins are a crucial part of a healthy diet! They help the body function, regulate metabolism, and process your food into energy. Without a steady supply of vitamins our bodies cannot grow, develop, or maintain properly. Symptoms like low energy, skin ailments, and indigestion can all be a result of not having enough vitamins in your diet.

The Gift of Giving

The Gift of Giving

The cheer of the holiday season. Fresh cookies hot out of the oven. Family dinners teeming with love. The many warm memories that come to mind when you think of the holiday time. Memories made with the ones we love, those are the things that come to mind. Now flip on the T.V. and what do you see? Commercials and ads a plenty. Specials and spending galore. Buy this. Give this. Want this. Need this! The magic of holidays memories past start to quickly fade. The smile turns to panic as we wrestle with what to buy. The perfect gift is surely out there... maybe down aisle 5?

Shoveling 101; The Basics

Shoveling 101; The Basics

Whether we like it or not, it's that time of year again; The snow has started falling! While it may be pretty in the beginning, the work will soon begin. It's time to dig out those shovels and start working. Whether we are shoveling our whole driveway, or just a path to the door way, our backs are put to the test as we lift that heavy snow.

Giving Thanks; A Practice in Gratitude

Giving Thanks; A Practice in Gratitude

Thanksgiving. The time of year where millions gather together with their loved ones and think about all they're thankful for. It's a day of relaxation and memories to be made and shared. Family comes from all around to spend time with those most important to them. If only it all went as smoothly as it sounds. A part of us knows all the commotion and planning can cause a person a lot of stress and it can be easy to loose sight of the thankful part of Thanksgiving.

Feet: Your Foundation

Feet: Your Foundation

Your feet, the foundation of your body. They bear all of your weight and carry you through each day. A quarter of the bones in your body and over 30 joints are found in your feet! They are one of the most important parts of your structural system. When the bones in your feet are misaligned or causing you pain, your whole body suffers. Just one small misalignment can translate to knee, hip and even back pain. You see it's all connected and when one portion fails the others must compensate. This can lead to joint irritation in areas far from your feet.
